Not a mousse but works!

I am not a huge fan of mousse because I find it sticky, but I wouldn't call this a mousse. It is more like a foam, very light weight. As such, it is easier to apply to the roots without getting all over the place. Light scent, not unpleasant. Be careful not to use too much because it turns to liquid quite quickly, but that’s okay for me because I blow dry a little anyway. It did add some volume to my fine, thinning hair so it did its job. I like it, but the price is off-putting for me, I can buy drugstore products which work for a fraction of the price.

Fantastic for volume, okay for curls

I have long curly hair that, while still a lot of hair, I've noticed some definite thinning in over the past few years. So products formulated to increase volume aren't something I have a lot of experience with, but this one seems to do exactly what it says it's going to do.It's a bit more watery than a typical mousse (think "foaming hand soap" rather than "spongy hair product") so you do have to apply it pretty quickly once it's in your hand, otherwise it will break down to liquid.The scent is really nice, a combination of fruity and herbal, and not too strong, which I love.This product never claimed to be about curl definition, so I'm obviously not going to ding them for not doing something they never said they would do. Just know that if your fine/thinning hair is also curly, you will probably want a second product to define your curls after you've used this one to increase volume.But for straight, wavy, or tousled looks, this stuff is pretty amazing.
