I’ve been using this product on my hair and my skin. I’ve never used castor oil before, so my first impression was that this oil is thick, smelly, and rich. When using on my face, I mix it in with my moisturizer at night and it leaves my skin feeling extra hydrated. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and it didn’t seem to break me out which is a green flag for me. The smell is…interesting. I’m not sure if all castor oil has a strong scent, but this definitely does. I can’t describe how it smells it’s just not a great smell. I also use this oil on my scalp mixed with coconut and rosemary oil and I don’t think I’ve used it enough to really see a difference, but I’m hoping it hydrates my scalp more.The price is GREAT for the size of the bottle and I know it’ll last me a while. Overall, I’d rate this castor oil as a 7/10.

This castor oil is great for hair health and works great to repair my split ends! I love how easy it is to apply with this applicator. I usually use castor oil in with a glass dropper. But this makes application a lot easier. I usually apply this to my hair 2 times a month and leave it in overnight. I also will apply some to my frizzy hair after blow-drying it. This is great for your hair health.

Nothing feels better than the nights I get to soak my entire scalp in this oil and leave it in over night. I cannot believe the difference just one night can make to help my hair feel so soft and detangled...to help my scalp feel less dry and flaky..it turkey hydrates every part of the top of you r head. I like that u also have the option of adding into other products so you can incorporate the oil into your routine through other products. I will be buying this oil again look forward to finding all the ways this can help better my skin and hair

This castor oil bottle also does not disappoint. The curvy 250ml bottle with a nozzle mechanism makes it easy to pour the castor oil.The oil itself is what pure castor oil should be: a thick gel-like oil with no particular smell. The effects of the oil were evident quickly a nice shine was evident on my hair right away. The actual thickening effects, etc, may take some time to show. In any case for a (male) person with receding hair, this oil offers some hope that my hair health may be about to see an improvement. But like all castor oil, this can become a bit rancid over a period time. So best to apply a nice perfume as well when you put this on. The oil is quickly absorbed as well. On my skin the oiliness was not too evident within minutes of applying. Coming from a well-known brand and US-made credentials (the oil itself is probably sourced from elsewhere), this product does give a lot of confidence. And the best part is the reasonable price.For those reasons, five stars are easily deserved.
