Polyvinyl Chloride

Polyvinyl Chloride

Medium Risk

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a homopolymer of vinyl chloride, widely used in various products due to its durability and versatility. It serves multiple functions including construction materials, medical devices, and packaging. PVC can be processed into flexible or rigid forms, depending on its intended application.

Sustai Insights

Polyvinyl chloride offers functional benefits such as durability and resistance to moisture. However, it is associated with moderate health risks, including potential allergens and irritants, while exhibiting low risks for carcinogenicity and reproductive toxicity. Works as described!

My curls turned out great! And I didn’t find it to be at all uncomfortable to sleep in. If you’re on the fence just do it! Worth it for the low price point and the saved effort! My hair is mid back and usually takes 30+ min to curl with a curling iron but this took me 2 min. Highly recommend!
