Helped a lot with my toddler's hair

My 1 year old son started to have an issue where his hair smelled a little like "wet dog" when we washed it, even after it dried. I bought this shampoo to try to help stop that and after a few weeks of use his hair smells much much better. A little goes a long way! I always use too much.

Overwhelming Smell

I know that the description says 8oz bottle but it does feel a bit small for the price. We've only used it once so I can't comment on the efficacy but the smell is pungent. I usually like the scent of tea tree oil but this just shoved itself right up my nose. My 5yo also commented on how strong it was while I was washing his hair. I noticed most of the reviews were actually for a different product so maybe that one smells better but this one is way too intense to be pleasant.

Nothing works like this, WORTH IT

My youngest has dry itchy scalp/dandruff and despite trying everything nothing seemed to work. This stuff is liquid gold. I could tell after one wash a difference and by the second wash 95% improvement. By wash three the dandruff and itchy scalp was gone.My child has thick long hair so we let the hair “marinate” all lathered up for about 5 minutes before rinsing. The smell is the only complaint my child has - “I smell like potting soil” but I think it smells clean. I do wish they made a larger bottle but either way customer for life!

Softens Dead Skin

I am not sure if it was the cradle cap kit with the comb that is round like the scalp or if this shampoo is magical. Lathering this shampoo in my toddlers hair softened the dead skin to pull away from scalp without my daughter noticing. (Note: I could see the skin patches but with longer toddler hair the skin patches were just stuck to her head unless I massaged that spot or gently pulled them off. My daughter doesn't like her hair washed despite refusing to leave bathtub. ) This shampoo softened the many spots gently and has been keeping her scalp clean since using at least once a week.
