Very matte, very tinted and pretty

The color is a pretty red. If I apply my usual amount, it can be really red which is often too bright red for me. Because it is so red, I do not use a lot. I put a dot in the center of my lips, and I spread it out with my brush. It is quite matte and isn’t shiny at all. It looks like it’s a stain after it’s dried, but it will leave a light impression of color on napkins or clothes. Because it’s a stain, it’s not as moisturizing as it claims. I definitely don’t think it’s an oil.When I use it, and I don’t apply any gloss, it just looks like my natural lip color, but again, only if I do not use a lot. If it can look natural, that’s awesome in my opinion.

Very Thin!

This lip oil applies very thinly. I didn’t find it as moisturizing as other lip oils, but it wasn’t drying either. I definitely didn’t feel any plumping action, as the product title indicates. I have other lip oils that are thicker like a gloss. This one was very thin like a tint. It was very pigmented and though the color wore off while eating and just going about my day, there was a tiny bit of color left on my lips at the end of the day. However, this is to be expected with a lip oil. I got the color B107 and it was a little too bright for me so next time I wear it, I will go lighter on the color or wear a darker liner underneath. The bottle is cute and seals well. I prefer something a little more moisturizing so this isn’t the product for me.

Not Glossy or Moisturizing, Lip Stain

This goes on smoothly and evenly but I don’t like the applicator, it doesn’t glide across my lips like others I’ve used, it’s skinny and awkward and it doesn’t sit flush against my lips, the shape is weird. I also don’t like the bottle cap, it’s too narrow of a round top and not convenient to open, it’s really small.The color is pretty, I got B103 brave which will be great for for fall and winter. It doesn’t look exactly like the shade in the picture but it looks like the bottle color.It doesn’t transfer once it’s dry. Although the description says it’s moisturizing, glossy and plumping, it’s not, it’s dry, matte and doesn’t have plumping effects. My lips feel dry and the stain can show the cracks more. I add a clear gloss over it if I don’t want a matte finish.This is a lip tint rather than a lip oil. It lasts a while on my lips but fades over time with eating, drinking, etc. as with anything.It also has a weird taste until it wears off some.Overall, it’s good, especially for the price.
