Using this for the last 10+ years. Same product, no changes. It has the right consistency for a professional massage. Comes from a reputable manufacturer. Just make sure you buy it from a reputable source. I would recommend the manufacturer to print the date when they were filled right on the product. It does last 6 months to a year though after you open it. Buy the larger gallon bottle only if you use it in not more than a year.

I was a long time user of massage lotion, but so many other LMTs raved about the gel that i gave it a try! Now that is what I use. It is great with great glide-ability and less reapplying required.I use extra moisturizing foot lotion and that does not change over well with the gel. It feels like there is a sand mixture, but it is followed by working on the front of the legs. None of my client’s have noticed, so it is just me, so just a minor issue.

I'm definitely hooked on this gel. It has great glide, good feel and has a pleasant, subtle scent that works well for all my clients. It's so good I use it as my personal body oil for skin care after showering. It is excellent on it's own but also works well with a little fractionated coconut oil mixed in, in case you want more slick and less stick. Isn't too bad with staining sheets either, it comes out in the wash most every time. Good shelf life too.
