My cat doesn’t actually smell but she does have a slight dandruff problem and gets dusty looking (she’s black) easily. I use this after a good brushing and it works well. Scent isn’t overwhelming, coat is soft and shiny, cat doesn’t totally hate the experience. Win win.
The media could not be loaded. Super easy to use, and mess-free. It's my kitty's first time using this so he is weirded out by it. We feed him treats after the session. Once we got to our second time doing this, he got used to it. This is so much more convenient than traditional water baths, but we still choose to switch it up. Overall, this is a nice alternative to maintaining furry family members!
This is a nice thing to have on hand. As any cat owner can tell you, cats are very clean, but even the best of them need a little help sometime.In our case, we have a long-haired part-ragdoll cat. Even though I trim the hair around his netherregions, he still manages to get poo on himself maybe 2-3 times a month. It sticks in that luxurious fur. We keep unscented baby wipes on hand to clean him up, but sometimes, there are lingering odors anyway.We had a chance to try this out yesterday, when he again managed to get some on himself. We did the baby wipe first, then used the cat shampoo.You shake it well, then pump some out. It comes out foamy. You apply it to the stinky regions and rub it in. Given where I was working, I used a nitrile glove to apply it. You do not have to rinse any of this off, and it is supposed to be non-toxic. The label says you can wipe off any excess, which I did, since I was kind of generous on his nethers.It definitely neutralized any other odors. Did it make him smell as fresh as the air after a spring rain? Nope. But he didn't smell like a litterbox crime either, so I'd call that a win-win. It was much less stressful for my cat than a water bath would have been. So far, I like this product.
We have a senior cat who isn't able to groom herself as well as she once could so this has been a really nice product to use in between giving her baths. I really appreciate that it's not a noisy product like some foam looses can be so it doesn't startle her. It smells nice and it does help clean her coat.
Only used once so far, really didn't think she would let us use it. She started to pay attention when I rubbed it in my hand and then when I rubbed her back she jumped, it may have been a little cold or just the wetness but once I started to rub her belly, she was fine.There isn't a scent, but it smells clean. Which I like because I have allergies. I think it is a pretty good product.
