Babo Botanicals Mineral Sunscreen SPF50 - Hydrating Zinc Formula, Fragrance-Free - 3oz

I have tried SO many sunscreens and as someone with sensitive/ oily skin, I find that most sunscreens just don’t do it for me. Then a few years back I decided to cut out toxic ingredients from my beauty routine which threw a big wrench in my SPF routine. I was so pessimistic trying natural after natural sunscreen, they all had a white cast, low SPF, or oily consistency. Then one day I looked into this sunscreen and noticed it has a distinct light, warm, yellowish color (very close to my skin) so I was hopeful that it might mitigate white cast. Well, I tried this sunscreen and was SHOCKED at how good it is! It’s better in consistency and application than the toxic ones I was using previously- I couldn’t believe it! No breakouts, no oily skin, no white cast, people constantly compliment my “dewy” skin and ask what “foundation” I’m wearing and when I say I’m only wearing sunscreen for skin they always want to know. I’ve purchased close to ten bottles of this stuff and I hope it stays in production for the rest of my life. This is such an important park of my daily routine and it’s truly irreplaceable.

The sunscreen is more on the liquid side than creamy. It applies very smoothly with and without moisturizer on the skin, and it has no white cast. I'm glad they updated the product since I last purchased it a few years ago, as the natural "tint" is now a slightly warmer tone so it blends seamlessly with my medium skin tone.I hope they also make a water-resistant version of the sunscreen.

I've been using this product for about 4 months and plan to purchase it again. This product doesn't leave a white cast on me, but I am fair skinned so it could be different on darker skin tones. The product is a little runny but it rubs into my skin well and has a moisturizing effect. I layer my makeup over it and like the dewy undertone it gives my skin. The smell is not great but doesn't bother me once I've applied it. I'm grateful that I found a clean product that works so well with my combination skin!

For years I’ve been looking for a sunscreen for my combination skin that wasn’t too heavy, greasy, and without the white cast from the zinc oxide. After looking on the Environmental Working Group website (EWG.org), and seeing that this product received top scores and is an effective sunblock for UVA & UVB, I decided to give it a try. The tint is very sheer and it goes on well being a thin consistency, rather than a thick cream. I am very happy with this product. Finally, something that doesn’t slip and slide around my face. I use another zinc oxide sunscreen that’s more of a cream or “moisturizing” product for my arms and neck. Until the FDA approves the more advanced sunscreen ingredients that is available in Europe and other advanced countries, 100% zinc oxide is the way to go for us in the U.S.

I cannot believe I finally found the non toxic dupe version of the toxic La Roche-Posay Ultra Light Fluid Face Sunscreen SPF!!!! I literally screamed when I first tried it on!! It’s like it’s the same exact formula. It’s so incredibly lightweight, and blends in so beautifully with the skin. I cannot even feel it on my skin. And the finish is so incredibly soft. I bought both the tinted and non tinted version and both are so amazing. No white cast or anything. Truly impressed. It took me so many sunscreens to find this exact formula…I’m a life long customer now!! This will be my forever sunscreen.
