Love nail tek

I have been using nail tek extra for my base coat and quicken for my top coat for years. The product works. My mani lasts at least a week. I do add an extra coat of quicken during the week because I like the shine. Yes, they are my nails and I use regular nail polish. Unfortunately when I went to use my topcoat, I was sent drying drops instead. Not happy.

It flakes off very easily and if you use it as a top coat it’s not good. As a base it’s ok but my nail polish pealed off when I used it as a top coat. It does dry in under 2 minutes. So it’s quick drying.

Bought this and the #2 NailTek product (to use as a basecoat). Didn't really expect much, as my nails have been hopeless my entire life. That being said...it's been a week and I haven't broken a nail yet! They feel stronger, both on my fingers and to the touch. I even stubbed my finger so hard I shattered my polish off, and didn't chip my nail! In terms of polish retention, I'm not sure I've ever seen anything better. The day after I painted them, I went out and dug in my garden bare handed. I didn't realize what I had done until after it was too late...but my polish was perfect! It doesn't dry as quickly as I would like...but I'm notoriously impatient, so take that with a grain of salt.Edited to add: the product definitely works differently with different polishes. So far, sally Hansen's hard as nails works the best with it.

Okay, I've used Seche vite before I ever tried this particular product out, I was so used to their Intensive treatment, but I decided to try out their quicken formula just to see how it works, must I say, I will stop using Seche vite and stick to this one, seche vite is actually a pretty good product for fast drying, especially as a on the go, but my nail polish would always chip. They never last for more than 2 days. But with quicken, my nail polish has actually last for a good week, it doesn't matter the brand. But I use really good brand nail polish and they chipped quickly with seche vite, but with this one, i swear by this product, it don't dry as fast as seche vite but your nail polish last longer
