Maybe better as preventative than healing

I really wanted to like this product because it is USA made, natural ingredients, socially/environmentally responsible, small business. My foster dog has rough paw pads. I treated her left front paw with this every day, and her right paw not. Immediately after applying it felt a bit smoother, but within half an hour I did not see any difference. It did seem to have a slightly longer lasting effect on her nose. I do like the smell a lot, and knowing this is safe for dog use, even if they lick it, is good. I will keep it around for future dogs, maybe I'll need it more as a preventative measure than a healing measure.
