Hope to not need it often

I used to use a product named Nature's Miracle. I understand this product is very similar and it works as well as as the former product. Not needed as much since my dogs are older and better trained.

Best Formula Out There

I'm odor sensitive and this cleaner neutralizes without its own scent stinking up your home, unlike all others I've tried. It greatly reduced a bright yellow bile stain on carpet months after having tried numerous other products on that stain which all did nothing. And, you have to promise to keep secret what, in fairness to all frustrated pet owners, I now reluctantly share with original Nature's Miracle ("NM") formula lovers: when the company that made the original NM formula broke up around 2013, half the partnership retained the NM name and packaging rights while the other half kept the formula...and ECOS Pet Stain and Odor Remover is the original NM formula, now with a subtle-scented, extra-cleaning citrus enhancement. Please keep this a secret so it isn't sold out when we desperately need more! :-)

Not Great for Odor Control

This works okay, but I'll be sticking to Nature's Miracle.

Effective in use, but less cost-effective than Nature’s Miracle

I can’t fault this in terms of effectiveness – it got rid of the cat urine odor. However, to accomplish that goal I ended up using close to half the bottle on a single spot due to the need for multiple applications.I also tried the Nature’s Miracle brand on another area and it also needed multiple applications are several days to get the job done. However, the Nature’s Miracle brand (the version specific for cat urine) was less than half the price of this, making it a more economical solution to the problem. On the plus side, this has a nicer scent than Nature’s Miracle, both in terms of the initial scent and the scent while it is working. I never got an increase in the urine odor as I did with Nature’s Miracle (it makes the smell worse for the first day or two after it is applied).I’ll give this four stars since it is effective, works a little faster than Nature’s Miracle, and has a nicer scent. However, I’ll be buying Nature’s Miracle (the cat urine version) in the future since that produces the same end-state (albeit a little slower) and is much less expensive per ounce.
