Great Tasting Coffee.

Most importantly, this device makes great tasting coffee. It is superbly designed, engineered and manufactured by Bodum, a company with a stellar reputation in coffee making.It is versatile because the pour-over component with its stainless steel filter will fit securely over many different cup openings. Clean up is an absolute snap. The fact that it is super high quality plastic is a big plus for me with no glass components to drop and break all over the place.Finally, a fine ground coffee will leave a little more sediment so I am recommending you use medium to coarse grind. I am thrilled with this purchase and hope to use it for a long time to come.

Good pour-over coffee maker. But it's plastic. Not glass.

This is a study pour-over coffee maker that performs well and comes out of the dishwasher just fine. However, it's plastic--not glass--and it is not a particularly precisely-pressed item. Expect to see very visible seams, indicative of cheap, high-volume manufacture retail goods. It's not the Bodum quality I expected. But, it will make you a cup of coffee, no doubt.

Better than a coffee maker!

A million times better than a regular coffee maker. I only drink one cup of coffee a day (anxiety) so this was perfect. The only issue is I have to use a reg coffee filter if I use store bought coffee. The ground coffee is too fine for the wire filter. I get a lot of it in my coffee, not a big deal though. If you don’t want that issue, use a medium or coarse ground coffee. Other than that, I love it. Super easy to clean and set up. I get a fresh cup of coffee in less than a minute and there’s no nasty residue that you can never clean which all coffee makers end up having when you use them for awhile.

Easy cleanup and perfect for one person

My husband recently stopped drinking coffee so making a pot of French press for myself was just too wasteful, and honestly, I didn't like cleaning it every day. When I wake up, I want my coffee fast and easy because it's early and I'm tired. This is the perfect solution for me. And the cleanup is super simple, just dump the used coffee grounds and rinse it out. It comes with it's own plastic double walled cup, but I just put it straight over my mug. It fits my short, wide mugs, but not my taller ones. It's honestly the perfect solution for me though, fast, good coffee, easy clean up.

It's Plastic

I own several Bodum items and all of them are made of glass. Since I am very happy with all of them, when I saw this Pour Over Coffee Dripper Set With Double Wall Mug on sale I mistakenly assumed it was glass and just bought it without reading the description which states that is plastic. My bad. Until I received it I was not aware that Bodum made plastic "glassware" products. It works OK; but feels like plastic, which it is. When making my own coffee, I prefer drinking it in a glass mug.
