Leaf Shave Thorn Razor Set - Ultra-Close Shave, Blade Recycling Tin, 50 Blade Refills

I enjoy the shape and base of this razor. It's easy to change out and gets every hair easily.

As soon as I saw this set I wanted to get it for my son. His facial hair grows really quickly so we go through a lot of razors. I remember watching my grandpa shave when I was a little girl and he had an old school safety razor that he used most of his adult life. I remember the tins of fresh blades and him assembling his razor, carefully changing the blade, his mug with a cake of shaving cream and a wooden handled bristle brush. It was quite the production. This Twig razor has the same heavy duty feel to it. The stand is great and keeps your razor upright. It looks classic and stylish. The tin for used blades is really nice and will hold a ton of them. I did take one star off because the actual blades aren't that great. Initially they are very sharp but they get dull quite quickly and have to be replaced often. You do get 50 blades but for the price I thought they would be superior quality. He'll continue to use this razor system but I'm going to buy better blades. Overall, I'm still very pleased with this kit. It's much better for the environment than disposal razors and with proper care will hopefully last for many, many years to come.
