This cup will fit the K Slim if installed correctly

I purchased the stainless steel Reusable cups and have just tried it out and it works perfectly with my new K Slim. The packaging is excellent and the only drawback is that it does not come with instructions. In order to use it properly you need to push the top on firmly and look for the arrow tip engraved on the rim of the top. That arrow needs to face forward on the slim. This is because the four nozzles on the coffee maker that spray water into the cup are not symmetrical so if you put the cup that holds the grinds on backwards (arrow facing toward the back of the coffee maker) the holes will not align with the four nozzles and you will have a mess on your hands. If installed correctly the system works perfectly. This shortcoming is not a result of design of the cup but rather that Keurig did not need to have the holes symmetrical since their coffee maker punches new holes in the plastic K cups every time it is used. What else I like about the design is that the holes in the cup are much smaller than usual and leave almost no grinds in the bottom of the empty coffee cup. This eliminates the need for a paper filter that I had to use with my previous reusable K cup coffee filter. The item works, is well designed and manufactured and considering they send you two is reasonably priced.I'm happy!!!!!!!

All good but keurig lid won't close completely

After reading the reviews, I expected the keurig not to close completely but it still stood out among the others. Plus I prefer stainless steal. So I thought I would try it. First the good: It holds the coffee grounds in with no mess. It is really easy to clean... just rinse it out, no difficult areas. It is hot when you first take it out but cools quickly for handling. The negative: mine also does not close completely. Because I want to use a specific ground coffee and I'm really happy with everything else about it, I came up with a solution. It is difficult for me to hold it in place due to arthritis in my hands so I use a clamp to hold it shut (otherwise I get a stream of coffee and another stream of clear water). I highly suggest you also get the scoop. It makes it so easy and mess free to put coffee in the pod.

Incompatible with the new Keurig K Slim machine

Unfortunately, these VERY beautiful and clearly well-made coffee pods are incompatible with the new Keurig K Slim machine we have. The problem is that the four “multistream” water doesn’t come out of the elements that snugly penetrate the tight slitted neoprene cover, but just around them. The result is that more than half the resulting brew is hot water instead of coffee. The result is unacceptably weak. I don’t know if the same design is used for the other Keurig models, but if it is, I they’re going to need to redesign the tops to be more like the plastic ones I am going back to that have simple holes rather than the perfectly tight-fitting crossing slits. Also, if they ARE compatible with the other models, some may complain that the tiny arrow etched into the stainless rim – indicating the mandatory mounting orientation – is difficult to see, especially when wet. This is a true observation. However, it is very easy to see the pattern of the five penetrations through the top of the device. The simple solution is to recognize that it is the pair of holes slightly further apart that go toward the back. The tabs on either side of the pod fall into place when dropped in, automatically correcting for any user misalignment.
