Fantastic Solid Shampoo

This shampoo bar is one of the best I have ever used. The bar is round and fits comfortably in one’s palm. It lathers really well and I had zero issues getting a nice shampoo of my long hair which is sometimes difficult with solid bars. It smells fantastic, like a citrus grove, and the smell lingers nicely on the hair as it dries. The bar left my hair soft, clean and smelling great. I have been trying shampoo and conditioner bars more lately because I have never been one to use just a carry-on while traveling but the thought intrigues me. One thing holding me back (besides the fact that I am an overpacker) is the feeling that I won't have enough toiletries to last my entire trip. But this is where shampoo and conditioner bars come into play. They are so compact and last for so long. You really aren't using more than you need with a bar and I am loving it. Yes, this bar is more than what I would normally pay for a bottle of shampoo but I am also using such a small amount that I feel like this shampoo bar will last forever.I really like the citrus smell of this. It smells very nice and isn't too icky sweet in my opinion. I also like that it lathers nicely and you aren't standing there rubbing this bar across your head for 10 minutes. I do wish that there was some sort of case to store the bar in but to me, that isn't a deal breaker.

Smells Heavenly, Cleans Great!

This was my first time using a shampoo bar. I'd heard my best college mate talk about them, though, so I thought I would give it a try. So right away, I'd just like to say I'm quite pleased with the climate-friendly badge on the bar, and that allows me to enjoy it just that much more. Yes, enjoy! I think that may have been the best shampoo experience I have had in years! I did not expect that bar to yield as much lather as it did, but boy does that thing suds up in the hair, and gets it so nice and clean, without drying it out! Not saying I could skip the conditioner, that's never happening with my hair, but I was still able to comb my fingers through it easily in the shower pre-conditioning. And the scent is absolutely yummy. I'll be using this for quite a while!

Don't like the way my hair feels

I am not new to shampoo bars, but I do usually use sulfate free shampoo bars as a wavy haired girl. On occasion I use shampoos that have sulfates to help clarify all the build-up out of my hair so I wanted to give this bar a try to see if it could replace the bottle of shampoo with sulfate I usually use. Unfortunately I do not like this bar very much. It smells nice and it has a really good lather, but my hair felt very stiff and straw-like after I used it. I won't continue to use it, unfortunately.

Bright invigorating citrus fragrance, love it

I started trying and using shampoo bars in the past few months. The fact that they lather so well and waste less as well as relative ease of use has surprised me how much I like them. The one thing though is I need to figure out where exactly to put them after I'm done using them. Would be ideal if these companies would include a simple silicone or maybe plastic holder. Right now I end up shaking off the remaining water and returning them to the package they come in which isn't ideal.The Honeybee Gardens Sunny Citrus Shampoo Bar doesn't disappoint in the smell department or how well it lathers. I get that instant citrus smell using it and it is invigorating during my morning shower. Honestly for me any citrus scent has that great affect on me it just wakes me up and makes me alert. I will say as is the case with shampoo bars I've encountered that it's probably a good idea to follow with a conditioner or conditioning bar if the company makes them. My hair after using a shampoo bar has that squeeky feeling and personally I'm not a huge fan so I like how using a conditioner returns my hair to feeling soft, smooth, and normal again.If you've been on the fence about trying a shampoo bar the sensory experience alone you get using this citrus scented one is a good place to start.
