This conditioner rivals much more expensive brands. I have baby fine, thin hair, and it's very dry and has gotten frizzy as I'm heading into my 50s. I was just at the point where I thought I was going to cut my hair into a short pixie because maybe my hair just wasn't going to ever look good in a bob again (also short, about chin length, but that's where I'm at with my frustration with my hair looking terrible.) I used this shampoo and conditioner set ONCE, and it made my hair look so healthy! The frizz was gone, it looked shiny and healthy, and was so soft and smooth to touch!I am often told by hairdressers that it's your conditioner that makes all the difference, adn that any shampoo will be fine as long as it's not too detergent/drying, but I really like the smell of this set -- it's kind of like fruit punch, I think, but subtle... made me feel very happy in the shower, a very fun, happy scent -- and both the shampoo and conditioner have a very high end feel that makes washing your hair feel like a very pampering event, like I've had at some spas. It must be some special ingredient they use, but if you know that rich, silky feel of shampoo and conditioner, you know what I'm talking about.Anyway, I'm happy with the ingredient list. There are a lot of chemicals that I like to avoid, so I'm very choosy with products.Since my hair is baby fine and thin, I've only been using this set every other day, since I wasn't sure if it would weigh my hair down and this is not really formulated for baby fine hair, but with this schedule, my hair really hasn't looked this healthy and good since I was a kid. I think if you have thicker hair, even if it's fine, you would be able to use this set daily.

Shampoo: Very concentrated. The bottle will last a while longer than my typical shampoo because I need so little of it. Has a nice scent, doesn't linger much after rinsing.Conditioner: Different mild scent, also does not linger long after rinsing. Works okay, I think I prefer conditioners that offer a little more slip for my long hair.Both: Neither of these has the feel of your typical grocery store products. The shampoo doesn't lather heavily; I don't mind this but I know some just *need* that to feel they're cleaning their hair. The conditioner doesn't feel very slippery, which means I have to use quite a bit to be able to comb through my long hair easily. I can see the conditioner running out before I'm halfway through the shampoo.I personally haven't yet found a shampoo/conditioner combo that is special enough to warrant salon prices, and this is no exception.As far as packaging, I had a mixed experience. The bottles arrived with 'seals' under their caps, each bottle then sealed into a bag individually and then bagged yet again as a pair. The conditioner arrived without issue. The shampoo however arrived having leaked all over it's individual bag. When I removed the caps to remove the seals I found the issue - while the conditioner's seal remained attached to the neck of the bottle, the seal for the shampoo had gotten stuck inside the cap instead. I think the bottle's entire cap was also slightly loose on the bottle and this led to the leakage. Unfortunate. If the issue with seals is resolved then I think the extra bagging could be eliminated, avoiding some plastic waste.
