NOT Real Badger, bristles are synthetic

This is a disappointing review to write as I had spent more for this product trying to avoid brushes with fake badger hair. This one is fake too.they are nice synthetic bristles but not natural.the brush is very soft but I think I will have to return it. It's very soft, softer than the real badger brush that just arrived from Fendrihan and softer than the synthetic I have been using for years.Disappointing, the advertising is quite misleading. "Badger fiber" does not mean that the fibers come from Badgers, it's a deception.Muhle states that the bristles are synthetic, I wish they had made that more clear.

quality travel brush.

I purchased this Muhle Classic Silvertip brush for traveling, but I find that it would work as well at home. The Silver-tip Badger fiber is very fine, soft, and of very good quality. I was concerned it would be too small but it works fine. The base of the handle measures 1 3/8"D, handle 1 3/4"H, brush height on mine, 1 /13/16". The 2 piece adjustable plastic travel case I purchased for the brush is too long. Plan to modify it for a fit. 9-2022-I was finally able to use this brush on a trip. It worked great.

On the small side, but extremely soft

The size is smaller than the usual cheap brushes you find in chain pharmacies, so make sure that the dimensions will fit your stand if you have one. It is extremely soft, but the true value will come out in durability over time. I expect the life of the brush to last at least 5 years, so we will see.

Very good brush

This brush has become my favorite, and I like it better than my mid-grade badger brush. Creates a very good lather with either Proraso Shaving Cream or TAOS Shaving Soap. Very easy to use: 1-2 seconds under warm running water, light shake, and then start whipping up a lather! It’s also easy to clean and dry post-shave.

Great synthetic brush

I got the brush for travel. It is a little small for everyday use, but it could be done. The brush needs a little bot of time to break in to the the softness to be like a silvertip brush. I can make a great lather with it, but it does not hold as much water and heat as a silvertip.; and for me, it is nice that you do not need to kill any synthetics to make the brush. All in all, I would recommend it, especially for those DE users who travel.
