This is the first time I tried this, and it helps provide a smooth shave. Because you use water to get it to foam up it is somewhat messy to use. I will continue to try, but it is not looking favorable because of the mess it makes. These are not cheap, maybe foam in a can would work better for my needs.

Ordered this a few months ago...worked great for travel...was in a rectangular package that laid flat or on edge in my shaving kit. Just received second order and now it's in a round canister. Will be ok for home, but NOT as convenient for travel.

I bought this on a recommendation for an upcoming cruise. Packing space is at a premium, and I am generally not a fan of shaving creams and gels, so I am always interested in alternatives. I bought enough for me and my husband so that he wouldn’t have to use one that had been rubbed in my armpits.He has a full beard but apparently dry shaves the edges, which I didn’t know. (I guess the fact that our bathroom vanities don’t face the same direction means he probably misses the finer points of my self-care routine, probably a good thing.) Oh, well, more for me.Anyhow, I used this in the shower on the cruise ship for my legs and armpits. It is very gooey and doesn’t rinse off mega easily, which is great for shower use. It made for a very close, smooth shave, and I didn’t nick myself at all, which I almost always do even though I change razor heads frequently. It did take a bit of effort to wash off the goo, which was not a major problem in the shower, but if you’re using this outside of the shower, I would imagine that it’s a bit of a pain.Otherwise, I didn’t notice that it smelled that much, and if it did, it didn’t last on my skin. That’s a good thing.Finally, I shaved the day before we disembarked the cruise ship and left the stick open on my bathroom counter to dry out before packing it the next morning, which worked great.All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase and intend to use it to replace shaving gels and creams entirely. It’s very cost effective, too.

Pacific Shave Company does not disappoint. I purchased the caffeinated line last Christmas for the Hubs & he said it was the Best He's EVER used (& this is coming from a guy who shaves his head on the daily). I saw these cute sticks & thought we should give them a try; he Loves them too! Says they're super easy to use, great lather, and all around great. So thanks Pacific Shave bc I now know where to get all of his (& my) shaving stuff!
