Awesome shampoo! Great smelling shampoo that does really well in applying moisture and strengthening my hair. Lathers very well and the scent isn't overwhelming. Great to use daily and doesn't make my hair greasy or oily at all. Great product.

Smells great but ...

This item smells amazing!!! But I haven't noticed any reduction in hair loss. In fact, I feel like I've increased shedding while using it so I'm going to go back to my as I am product. I really wanted this to work, but it made things worse and my hair has never been dryer than it is now. It does not provide moisture and my hair isn't very soft after using it. It appears even more damaged when I started using it. Everyone's different and it may work for you, but it didn't for me. I have 3A hair for reference. 3 stars for the amazing, lasting aroma.

After using this Shea Moisture shampoo for about three weeks, I can’t say that I’ve noticed any improvement in my hair breakage. It hasn’t gotten any worse, however, and my hair looks a little less frizzy and feels softer so I would say that using this shampoo is a net positive.The shampoo does not have a strong fragrance and the scent doesn’t linger after washing, so it’s great if you like mild or no fragrance shampoos. It doesn’t lather up much, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t working because my hair is definitely less oily and dirty-looking after use.Perhaps I would see more results if I was using the full 4-part system, but I did still see a difference when incorporating just the shampoo into my daily routine with my old conditioner and styling products, so I would recommend it.
