So I have really sensitive skin and scalp. Extremely sensitive. Like baby skin. And there have been many times where a product has caused adverse reactions in me. From hives to hair loss and everything in between, commercial products have maimed me time and time again. I have decided to no longer put synthetic chemicals in or on my body. I started learning the power of plants and plant medicine. I only use organic products and if you have looked at organic products for a split second, you will see the price difference and that can be off putting. I was slightly nervous about spending $20 on a bag of soap. The price for this bag seemed a little steep compared to the $3-$4 dollar packs of 6 at the store but this soap is lasting a very long time! They come in generous portion sizes, I got 6 bars in my pack and I have not even went through the first bar. I actually prefer the rough, imperfect cut of the products as it makes it look and feel like homemade soap. It has a spice scent and the Turmeric really comes through. It makes my skin feel really, really soft! Like super, silky! I am a lifelong customer now and I have also tried one of their shampoo and conditioner bars (see that review) but needless to say, I was pleased with that product as well and plan on buying more. I have told my real life friends and family about this brand and I plan on buying other scents as well as another "fugly" pack just to pass some out as gifts. Give the gift of health :) Your skin is the largest organ in your body and you absorb everything around you. Feed it good stuff. Don't put chemicals on your skin. I think it is worth the price! I am very happy with this soap. It smells great in the shower, and leaves a clean, subtle scent afterwards. I've also noticed that it doesn't leave my skin as dried out as grocery store soap. At first, I thought the oatmeal in the soap was too rough as an exfoliant, but after using this soap for several months now, I think that was just an aberration in the first bar I used. I've had no such issues with subsequent bars, and now love how the oatmeal and coffee feel as I wash. This is truly the best soap I've ever bought. It's also an incredible value. Not only did I save money by buying the "fugly" soap, but I've found that each bar of soap lasts an incredibly long time.

I'm rating this soap as 4 stars only because it has done nothing for my blackheads and I'll have to switch to another face wash for that. Other than that, this soap is lovely and I still use it as a body bar. The scent is a herbal almost licorice scent to me and I enjoy it. It's funny they label this soap as "fugly" as I received whole bars with just a couple scratches on. Other than that there was nothing wrong with them.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this soap. I'm a 19 year old male I never had that much acne in my teens, but I used to use proactiv is a preventative medication for acne. I could tell that the benzoyl peroxide was making my face look older and unhealthy (dark rounds under eyes, wrinkles by the corner of eyes when I smile when I was only 16. Then I switched through random drugstore facewashes and potions and such for years until I was late into my age of 18 I started using "natural" face products (Daily Power Scrub Facial Cleanser For Men - 8 OZ - Face Wash + Energizing Toner + Exfoliating Scrub All-In-One - Natural & Certified Organic Ingredients ALTHOUGH I did like the moisturizer which might actually be all natural, while the face wash wasnt (Age + Damage Defense Facial Moisturizer For Men - 4 OZ - Soothing Aftershave Lotion & Anti-Aging Cream Hydrator In One - All Natural & Certified Organicwhich I later found out was not really ALL natural, it just used SOME natural ingredients (what a marketing scam). These products worked fairly well (still had minor breakouts) until a few months ago. I tried to wait it out because I really like their brands appeal but my skin became HORRIBLE and I had the worst breakout I've ever had so over Christmas break for college I attacked my face with the AMAZING Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Deep Pore Cleansing, 1 Pound and Bragg's ACV of course DAILY over Christmas break. I started using this soap along with witch hazel (Thayers Alcohol-free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera ~ 12 oz) as well and my skin cleared up COMPLETELY. I'm sure the clearing up could be thanks to the clay BUT I stopped using that because I'm back in the dorm after January 9th and here it is January 29, and I have not had a SINGLE pimple since then. I owe this to this AMAZING soap and the amazing witch hazel I attached. I apply the witch hazel with organic cotton pads. I first wash my face with this in the morning and apply witch hazel, then I do the same at night. Make sure you keep the soap in a soap tray to keep away as much bacteria as possible. I LOVE that this product is ALL NATURAL. COMPLETELY NATURAL. I love this soap. I bought the fugly version because it's a better deal and they were literally just almost normal sized bars in a bag.
