This bar of shampoo worked well for traveling as it cut down on my liquids throught TSA. It also has a pleasant coconut scent, not overpowering. I used it in a very humid climate so not sure if that was the main factor for moisturizing/softening my hair.

I personally prefer this brand and this type for my hair. My daughter uses the tea-tree oil one. First - these bars lather so much better than the rest that I tried. I prefer the coconut oil as I have dry curly hair that is going grey (I do not color my hair and rarely use any styling tools or even a blow dryer). My daughter has very oily hair and prefers the tea tree oil one. I prefer to wash my hair more often than her, preference not that I could not go longer between washings.
