As you get older, you lose Squalane production. It also has a very powerful antioxidant (I forget what it’s called but it starts with an H- it’s the same thing that’s in olive oil but it’s much lighter).I used to have a lot of issues with oils when I was younger but I’ve had the worst time with my skin staying hydrated since I turned 25, even with water based products. It literally hurts, and I live in a humid climate too. This changed the game for me, I will not purchase anything else (I was considering the Osea Oil- too expensive and not as hydrating). My skin felt like I did when I was a teenager. This oil is very light, absorbs easily but is emollient. There is no scent. I even use it for my lips and under eyes, and now my dry eye issues have improved too. Thank god for this oil. I will forever be repurchasing this, please don’t stop making this. I will be mixing this oil with emu, castor oils and rosemary oils depending on what it’s used for. Apparently they also have a vitamin c, ferlic acid and reservatrol serum, which now I’m excited to try.

This oil is absolutely excellent for skin hydration. It goes on like an oil but absorbs rather quickly, and leaves a slight feel of oil on the skin. This is great for and provides a lot of health benefits. It is virtually lightweight and fast absorbing. It leaves your skin extremely soft

This Pura D'Or Squalane Oil has a nice viscosity, no scent, and absorbs well into my skin. It's not super common, in my experience, to find it on it's own in pure form. Normally it's an ingredient in a lot of other beauty oils and creams. It leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized and that feeling lasts for a long while.I can't decide if I like the pump or not. On one hand, it makes it easy to dispense, but on the other, a full pump gives a lot of oil, much more than I need in one go. I also would love to know the source of the Squalane. Packaging seems to imply olives, but because it can come from so many different sources I'd like to know. Mostly for people with allergies or other restrictions in the kinds of products they can use.Those two things aside, I'm very please with this oil and how it makes my skin feel.

I absolutely love this squalene oil.First of all, this brand consistently offers products that are very clean. This oil is no exception. I appreciate that this oil is free from propylene glycol, formaldehyde, fragrance, parabens and more. This product is also cruelty free , which as a dog mom is very important to me.A little bit of this oil goes a long way for me. I have been using this on my face at night after washing, using a toner and applying a lightweight serum. I only need one pump of this oil for my face. The oil is somewhat thick and takes about 30 minutes to fully absorb into my skin. The next morning after using this oil my skin feels soft and smooth. So far I have had no irritation or clogging of pores from this product. I think this would be especially good during winter to countereffect the dry, cold air.I have used this oil on my hair with great results. Two pumps is enough to oil my below shoulder length hair, from mids to ends.Overall, I think think oil is great for both my skin and hair. I appreciate how clean it is and that it's not tested on animals. This is a huge bottle and since you only need such a small amount, it's a fantastic value. I expect this bottle to last for many months.10/10 Recommended!!
