Keeps things fresh!

I like how easy it is to seal items in the bag. It has kept my baked goods fresh. As others have stated, due to the silicone/rubbery texture, anything sticks to this bag. My cat saw the “new object” and proceeded to rub herself all over it. Now the bag looks like it came with fur on it. Oops. I’m not too surprised or concerned, but this might be a problem for others. These are very durable.

I bought a different brand and while they work fine, they are not nearly as heavy as the Stasher brand. I use these all the time, especially for marinade. I’ve almost stopped using plastic bags completely. Note, they are a bit hard to open. Start at a corner and work the top open that way. I don’t mind the extra work since it means they are quite air tight. Also, these clean up great with soap and water. Even long stretches with marinade have yet to stain one.

I’ve been wanting to pick up some reusable silicone bags for a while now and heard good things about the stasher bags. I think I ended up ordering when they were on sale if I remember correctly. The value for these bags was awesome. They are nice and thick with a really good press seal. I can have liquids in there without leaks. They are a little bit of a pain in the ass to wash but once you get use to it it’s easy and you can just open them over a cup or something and they dry very quickly. I haven’t had any issues with food scents being left behind at all. And the sizes are great for each one they are slightly larger than the comparable size of a regular ziplock such as the sandwich and snack sizes. I will definitely be investing in more because I really like them a lot.
