This shampoo (and conditioner) were packaged nicely. I think the scent isn't too strong, which is nice. It is a different way to wash hair so it took a bit of time to realize I was using shampoo and not soap. It lathered and did a decent job of cleaning my hair, but my hair needs special shampoo and conditioner and I thought this would help but my hair started to look dull and feel rough. It was also difficult to comb through. This may be a good product for people with short hair.

I had hesitated to jump on board with shampoo bars. I wasn’t sure how well they would work. I am now convinced I’ll never go back to liquid shampoo, thanks to this bar and its conditioner counterpart. My hair is thick and has to be sectioned in order to get it cleaned thoroughly; sectioning and lathering is much easier with the shampoo bar than it was to section, flip the rest out of the way, pump shampoo, lather. It also seems to rinse more easily and thoroughly. I appreciate not having another plastic bottle to recycle (which may or may not even end up getting recycled) and this bar takes up much less space on my shower shelf than bottles.
This is going to be a game changer for traveling! You will want to get a case to store it in if you’re going to use this for traveling.It smells so clean and refreshing and I love how well it lathers! After using, my hair felt clean!
