I love that it's reef safe. That's so important these days. I usually prefer chemical sunscreens. So I give mineral sunscreens some grace. But there are some domestically elegant physical ones out there now. This one definitely is a bit thicker and greasier. The flip side is it seems pretty waterproof as well as it is oily. So if you're looking for something that can survive an ocean swim this may be for you!

No complaints except for the unusual scent I guess 😂 Love that it's unfragranced 100% so I prefer this regardless, but yall must know it makes me CRAVE doughnuts or a funnel cakes! Smells like dough oil, my partner and I were in concurrence, it's undeniable!Otherwise, nothing unusual to note. I don't use on my face because I fear breakouts, but fine everywhere else. I use mineral because I think chemical makes me hot and breaks me out, this is on par with the rest. Blended very well IMO, no crazy white case but maybe that's because I'm used to mineral spfs

Pure zinc sunscreen is effective, reef safe, and pleasant if applied properly

I got this Sun Zapper pure zinc sunscreen because I’m pretty pale and have been spending time outside this month. I like that it’s reef safe, even though I don’t live near any reefs. I have used it in pretty intense summer sun for long periods of time, and it has effectively prevented my skin from burning. My personal potential to burn is moderate (I am fair skinned), so I appreciate the protection it provided. It is thicker than non-zinc sunscreen, and so takes a little more effort to spread across the skin, but it really stays on the skin. If you rub it in properly and don’t use too much, it won’t feel very greasy. Overall, I’d recommend this sunscreen.

Good mineral sunscreen

I usually use chemical sunscreens because they tend to be lighter to apply without any chalkiness. I gave this mineral-based one a try because the problem with chemical sunscreens is that if you sweat, and it gets in your eyes, it's absolutely horrible.Unlike other mineral-based sunscreens I've tried in the past, this is relatively lightweight and easy to apply. It does make my face looking slightly whiter than usual but not too noticeable. Overall I'm very happy with this product and will continue using it.

The sunscreen didn't have much of a scent. It comes in a tube that gives a good amount of product with each squeeze. It does have a white cast that is visible on my darker skin no matter how much I rub in. It does have a tacky feel as well.
