Difficult to fit between close teeth

I wanted to like this floss. It’s vegan friendly and a good deal. But I find flossing to be way more of a chore with this stuff than some other kinds I’ve used. The good news is that it’s sturdy (I’ve never had a piece break, ever), and I don’t notice a taste. These are outweighed by how difficult it can be to slip the floss between tighter gaps with every use. I find it at least somewhat painful to use on my fingers, and on a bad day I have to apply so much pressure that it feels like I’m cutting off circulation in them. Plus, when I finally do break through, the impact force causes my gum to bleed there. And maybe every couple of weeks, a piece will get stuck between my teeth.The caveat here is that I’ve had this floss for so long that they may have improved the wax on it by now. I don’t want to risk it, so I’ll switch back to another brand.
