These plates are not as thick as I had expected. I was expecting something more like wheat straw material. I've since found other thicker plastic plates and will be returning these.

Granddaughters favorite plate

These plates are great and both of my granddaughter's run to their drawer to grab them for snack time or dinner. Not only because they are pink but also because they are easy for them to carry and things don't slide off of the plate! I highly recommend them - you won't regret it!

Great heavy weight - dishwasher safe

I bought these because I have a cat who likes to intentionally tip over the kibble dish. She could turn over every bowl I tried with no more than two bats of her paw, even those with a metal tray underneath - using bowls with stands or trays didn’t stop her; it just made the spilled kibble more difficult for her to eat and for me to clean up. It takes her almost a full minute of hitting the edge of this plate hard enough to scatter kibble over the edge and she often just gives up and eats it. As a bonus, it is dishwasher safe.
