These are the BEST toothpaste tablets! Top notch ingredients, Amazing flavor (I got the spearmint), satisfying chew, lovely foaming. My teeth and mouth feel so fresh and healthy. If you’ve ever used Auromere Ayurvedic toothpaste it has similar taste. Will be a loyal customer with dr.tungs tablets for sure!

Works for Traveling, But Needs Getting Use To

What a great idea! No more of those little travel tubes of toothpaste that get used up so quickly and with 100 tablets to the bottle, these should last you a while. Dr. Tung's Herbal Toothpaste Tablets come in a strong glass bottle and the tablets are caramel/brownish in color. The tablets are advertised as herbal, natural, vegan and fluoride free with a spearmint flavor. The instructions are simple, crush between your teeth and brush.The flavor of the tablet is very weak. Their taste is very bland. I barely noticed any spearmint flavor, more of a bland powder taste and feel. Is that because this is an herbal tablet? Maybe it is because I am overly used to the sweet taste of so many commercial toothpastes. The brushing itself was fine and my teeth felt clean afterwards. I would recommend using some water on your toothbrush for a smoother brush. I am not sure about these tablets having no fluoride. I can only guess that that is considered more natural and herbal. These are very convenient to pack and to use especially while traveling.The taste is bland and weak. The brushing was just fine and left a clean feel in your mouth. Easy to pack and take with you. A great idea but definitely room for improvement.

First, the no so good: The taste is very earthy. I think it's the miswak (those are the sticks that are used in some cultures to brush their teeth, which actually have been studied and work great). Neem is also a really strong flavor, kind of nutty/garlicky. But, if you go in expecting that, I think you'll be okay. The other thing is that these tablets are brown. So, expect to be spitting out brown. I guess there's a reason why toothpaste companies put white coloring in their toothpastes. lolNow, the good: They work really well! I only used one tablet to brush my teeth and they felt clean, smooth, and fresh -- actually much better than they feel with regular toothpaste. As others have said, there is no foaming action, which I suppose is not at all necessary, but it's what we're used to.I think these would be great for travel. Technically you don't even need water, so as long as you spit it out and then have a tasty drink to get the flavor out of your mouth, you could use these anywhere. I do with they had some sort of added flavor (not mint, though, because I hate mint) because the earthiness is just not for me. Maybe a nice orange flavor? All in all, I wouldn't make this my regular toothpaste, but I would definitely bring with me for travel, or just to keep on hand in my office, etc.
