Compostable and thick enough to work well as trash bags!

Hold On bags have worked very well for use in small wastebaskets around our house. We have been reducing purchase of single use plastic whenever we can. Most stores and offices in our town are using compostable trash bags too. I haven’t purchased the kitchen bags yet. If enough consumers would buy these bags instead of plastic bags, it would be my hope that less plastic bags would be produced.

Leaks so bad

I have such mixed feelings about these. I have to double bag each time I use them. These are not leak proof in anyway whatsoever. But I love that they’re biodegradable. This brands trash bags are more leak proof than these (which I consider compost bags).

As advertised. These are sturdy/do not leak, and are better for the environment. They are thin and not thick like a big black trash bag, but they are great for use in bathroom trash cans.

Great for litterbox cleaning

I keep these bags on hand for cleaning out the litterbox. I love that they are more environmentally friendly than other small bags and that they will break down. While I am using them, however, they are sturdy so I don't worry too much about them breaking between the box and the trash!
