Shampoo & Conditioner Bar Trial Pack | Vegan, Natural, Plastic-Free

I made a switch to solid shampoos and conditioners a while ago and when looking at this brand in particular I wasn't sure which one I would like best. I have curly hair that is very healthy; I don't color and heat tools are rarely used on my hair. All of the shampoos take a minute to get a good lather going and that, to me, was a mark against them. I didn't care at all for the scent of the revitalizing shampoo bar, I actually threw it out when I was only half way through it because I hated it that much. The one I liked the best was the purifying bar, I would consider that one again. What I really loved in this set was the conditioner bars. They are soft even before I get them wet. Could I rub them on my hair before wetting them? No. But they have give if I were to poke them with my finger and that is something other conditioning bars I have tried lacked. My favorite was the Ultra Moisturizing Conditioner. It smelled amazing and seemed to be just that much better for my hair than the other (which is also a good conditioner). I will definitely purchase it again.

It is nice to have a sampler available, which helped me better deduce which bar to use for my hair. The scents are nice and neutral, suitable for anyone. When I first used them I figured that I would need to use them differently to the way I've used bottle shampoo and conditioner, and I was correct to assume so. Before my first use I referred to the instructions both in the sampler box beneath the soaps and online at the B.O.B. website. It still took a few washes after that in order for me to fall into a rhythm with the bars. I eventually realized that I have been using the shampoo more in my hair than the conditioner, leaving me with a smaller bar. That is likely due to how my technique/usage has changed with using these bars, despite my long hair. Overall, I enjoy these bars and will be ordering more.

Bought these to try and the small size was excellent for travel. No need to worry about liquid restrictions. Washed my hair great and my hair was so soft. I haven’t used the conditioner yet. I would buy again.

Great sample pack. These work well to clean your hair the, lather is good. If you are used to something with a lot of scent, these may not be it for you since they are not super fragrant. I do not mind because I like a very subtle natural smell. Overall I would purchase the full size of these bars.
