I prefer to eat a plant-based diet but I am anemic and I have difficulty getting enough iron from plants. So generally speaking getting iron from beef is the best thing to do but, well reasons for not preferring that.I have been taking the supplement for the last 10 years or so whenever I can afford it and it makes a really big difference.please don't come down on me because I'm doing the best I can to switch to a total plan based diet but in the meantime having this iron supplement which is vegan does help me not eat beef, which, when I eat animal products is really the only thing I want.Anyway for what it's worth for vegans trying to go vegetarian I don't know how it is for other things but for me I crave beef I learned that I'm missing iron and copper so I take this iron supplement and then also I wear a copper ring because copper cannot be absorbed through your skin and so that combination for me has meant I don't crave beef anymore.

I do think this product boosted my iron, and fast. I definitely noticed my hands warmed up after a few days of taking this. However, I got some gnarly headaches the first few times I used this product. I read some other people's reviews about the same issues. It was almost like my body wasn't used to all of that iron being absorbed so quickly. The taste grew on me, the B vitamins are a bonus, but it's very expensive, and I had to reduce the dose to avoid the headaches. Overall, good product though, but won't be repurchasing regularly.

I have recently found out that I am expecting my fourth child. I have never been diagnosed with anemia but I have often suspected myself of having it when pregnant. I get very tired and break out in bruises all over my body from the moment my pregnancy begins. This time, only two weeks into my pregnancy, like clockwork, I broke out in bruises all over my legs. I have not bumped into anything or been careless so it was frustrating. My sister recommended this to me and I am so glad I took her advice and bought this. First of all, I believe this has increased my energy levels majorly. Also, about a week after beginning to take this my bruises have gone away and have not come back! I really like that this is a food-based iron supplement, which helps your body absorb it and use it more efficiently. I have always been very sensitive to iron supplements. Some of the iron supplements I have used in the past have made me feel very sick and nauseated. I have experienced no bad side effects from this. No nausea!
